Rehabilitation comes in various forms. First of all, there’s physical rehabilitation. In other words, the patient will become active, and like I mentioned, immediately. They should get into an aerobic exercise program at about two weeks, and then they can begin physical activity and physical exercise at about a month, and that type of rehabilitation is very important to incorporate. In addition to that, there has to be a psychological rehabilitation. Remember that eating is a psychological issue, and the patients transfer their addiction from food to other addictions, so it’s very important that during the process of the first month where they cannot eat and they begin to cope with these issues of inability to eat, that they do not transfer these addictions to something else, namely drugs, alcohol, smoking, some other addiction that is not favorable for the body.
