Radioactive Iodine Treatment - Valerie's Story You know some people say they get a headache from it or nauseous. I think the hardest part of that treatment is the fact that you’re in total isolation. You know you’re stuck in a room that’s covered in plastic, they don’t do it anymore thank goodness. You know lets not practice, they’ve changed the rules on that but being in a room for three days without any human contact is not good.
