Quinn shares how his workout progress has been going after week 4 of 8.

Male: Okay, Quinn. Good morning. Quinn: Good morning. Male: You just got done in your 4th session. Go ahead and give me some feedback here. Quinn: Okay. I explained that my hips are a little bit tight from the lifting session that we had this past weekend. I was having a bit of trouble pushing my knees out at the bottom. So we work on it a little bit, I was laying on my back the whole time today. Working on the pitch that happens when I pull my knee up and in, on both legs. As the time went on, that slowly went away. I also explained that when I'm in a more of a dead lift position or for a snatch or my hands are wide, I have trouble keeping my lumbar curve set. I was talking about my back set, so my back rounds a little bit. And Bill did some work with my abdominals and my sternum that he thought was tying into my spine. It makes sense, and I could feel everything opened a little bit more when I tried it. When I was done, I was able to open my chest a little bit more and set that back a lot better. So I think we're getting to layers and layers. Male: Cool. And your squats this week you said you had a little bit of challenges because of sleeping and some other stuff. Quinn: Yeah, I'm not sleeping in a ways it just getting heavier. It’s not that my hips feel bad, because they still feel pretty good. It’s just, it’s what happens sometimes in weightlifting, you hit a plateau so you kind of have to do a little bit to fix that. Male: How was the depth of your squats this week? You said you were going too low last week. Quinn: Yeah. I thought that was a kind of a freak thing I guess. I don’t know, the depth is fine, I have no problem getting down there. and I know where I'm supposed to be, that one rep is just kind of like I just want to be totally sure, I guess. I don’t know. Or else fatigue, and I wasn’t thinking. But depth was good, hips had been tight for this past week end, they still felt pretty good. The weights, like I said, it's just getting heavier. So I'm hitting that plateau thing. Male: Cool. Okay. Thanks.
