Promising Research into Multiple Sclerosis MS has a huge amount of research going on and some of the most promising things in my opinion are there are several studies on oral medication or pill form medications that can help reduce the risks of MS attacks. There is research going on with regards to antibodies that are specifically targeted against certain parts of the immune system. And there's research going on to look at less frequent injections. Let's talk about new symptomatic MS therapists. The most recent and newly approved medication is called the Ampyra and it is a medication which is taken to help improve walking in MS. It is effective and about 30 to 40 percent of people according to research studies and it’s a medication that can be taken along with your regular MS medications.
