Andrew Battaile; Often times when you child is going to a new school, especially a high school summer reading will be assigned. There could be other academic work to be done as well, make sure that you check the registration materials throughly, that will let you know if there is anything else to be done. There will also be a book that's provided for summer reading. Make sure again that you read through this very throughly because if your son or your daughter shows up the first day not prepared that can be very embarrassing and uncomfortable.
