Speaker: If a baby who is say, 8 weeks premature and he did all these things what a kid should do at two months and six months, do they follow the same rules as a regular baby? Oded Preis: It depends on various factors, if the baby has a totally unevental course, and does not have any complications, does not suffer from any neuro-developmental, risk factors such as a bleed, or a lack of oxygen for any period of time, they should have a clinical catch up growth over a few months, and within a few months, by one year, they should be pretty much caught up, developmentally, with a parallel, full time babies, by two years definitely they should be all caught up, developmentally.
