Hi, everybody! I am Melanie Raposo and welcome to Mommy's Minute. During pregnancy your growing uterus places pressure on your bladder making it easy to leak. To prevent this, you want to strengthen your pelvic muscles by practicing Kegel's. To find those muscles, simply tighten the muscles of the vagina as you are trying to prevent the flow of pee. Hold those muscles for a count of five then release. The good news is that practicing Kegel's will also help tightening your vagina after birth. To find out more, visit www.ThePregnancyShow.com.
