Signature Exercise: Posture I'm Siri Duarma Galliano. And I'm your teacher today to teach you one of the most important things about fitness. It’s how to work with gravity when you’re standing. You know my basic philosophy is to just trade a bad habit for a good habit. If you look at how people are standing, you’re standing like this. They’re hyper extending in their knees. Their arcus are collapses, their stomach sticking out. Their necks coming forward, it’s not pretty. If you want to change your body the quickest, posture is the number one most important thing for you. So were going to over the rules of the bones. The muscles follow the alignment of the bones. And it's very important when you work to work bare-footed. So that instead of wearing very expensive shoes your working your arcus and your archilies tendons. So your in a slight turn out on your feet and then you squeeze your inner thighs together we call this the hunter gatherer muscles. And you wrapped your muscles around your buttocks and your hips are over your heels and the shoulder bones are over your hips and the head. The most important thing is lifted like a flower on the stem on top of the square that your bones make hear. You don’t want to hold yourself because that’s a tension creating exercises. You want to place yourself. So when you’re waiting online at the bank and your waiting for the computer to come up and you’re just waiting you can do that one any where. I try to do like brushing my teeth while I'm cooking and while someone is boring me. Come into this alignment where the bones are unstuck on top of each other and just lift your head up. Squeeze all your muscles and you will be doing an exercise when you’re standing all day long. It's more an exercise in the awareness to bring yourself back into symmetry. Because what’s a beautiful about the body you can be even be large. But what's attractive about the body is the symmetry. You will be projecting such an image of loyalty when you walked of presence and of confidence.
