No, it does not. And that's a very important point. The PCL 1 can heal unlike the ACL. An ACL tears almost never heal. A PCL tear can heal, number 1, number 2 you can do very well with a partial PCL injured knee. ACL partial injuries are tough because your knee is unstable but with PCL you can do very well with non-operative treatment. So, most of the PCL injured knees that are just isolated do not need surgery.
