Plank Push Exercise Hi, my name is Chinyere and most of my classes that I do are dance related and people will tell you, “I can't do this. I can't move my body like this.” And a lot of times it’s all in the mind. We are going to be doing a move called the plank push. You get really great, amazing upper body strength from your shoulders, the packs, your triceps and the abs. This is a great exercise for the entire upper body, strengthening and also for your abs. This is how we do it. When you get down on your elbows on the floor and palms down, you want to make sure that those stay right under your shoulder. You want to make sure that you pull your belly button into your spine. You want to make sure those abs are engaged and then you raise up and down, and up, and down, making sure that you keep the abs pulled in because it’s so easy to just let those abs go. So you want to make sure that they are stay pulled in to your back, and up, and down. You’ve got a one set your soul free, set your spirit free and there you have the plank push. It’s a great way to keep the upper body tight and keep your abs looking sexy.
