Oranges kissed with pineapple make for a great way to start your day.

Hi, this is Doctor Debra from topworkoutsecrets.com and back with another green smoothie. Today’s green smoothie is called pineapple kiss. First thing we’re going to put in are three oranges. All I've done is peel them. I'm just going to cut them in quarters. Don’t worry about the seeds, they’ll just get grounded even if there is a little piece of peel on it, just don’t worry about it. Okay, so there are our oranges and then the pineapple. So I've just taken the outer peel off the pineapple and put about 1/3 of the pineapple in. And just a little bit of water because they’re both pretty juicy. Go ahead and blend that first. A little bit more water and I've got some organic kale. It's really good to try and get organic greens. A lot of the greens, leafy greens, lettuces are on the dirty dozen lists and spinach is on the dirty dozen lists. So, you really want to try and get organic greens if possible or locally grown or grown from your garden. That works good too. And then I'm going to add a handful or two of spinach. I like to follow things to the top of that lid so I don’t have to keep taking the lid off. Blend that up. All right, I'm going to give it a taste, see if I can add some more greens and the more greens the better. The greens didn’t get ground up, just a few or couple of spinach loose. I'm not going to put any more greens in there. It's about the limit for me taste wise. But what I am going to add is some dill. I'm just going to sprinkle in some dill flakes. Sometimes some of these just kind of a little bit of a salty taste. And the dills will do that. Let’s give it a little bit of taste. That’s better. A lot of times it's the quality of your fruit, these oranges were grown a little bit on the dry sand. They seemed a little tasty. I think that’s I needed a little more flavor. A little bit more dills. And I probably put in a whole tablespoon or maybe two tablespoons worth of the dills. Okay dills flakes, you can usually find it in health food store or if you have an Asian market or oriental market, you'll find it there too. And the seaweeds and dills is just a lot milder tasting than kelp. So I have a pineapple kiss green smoothie. You can see I like mine kind of thick, just a personal preference. You'll just add as much water. In mine I used maybe ½ a cup of water in this one. A lot of times people use a couple or two. I like mine a little thick and chewy. So there you go. Let me know what you think about the pineapple kiss green smoothie. Give it a try. It helps if you make sure you get your pineapple really ripe and your oranges nice, juicy and flavorful. It will really help with this particular smoothie because the taste otherwise it's just aren’t very strong on the fruit. So, enjoy. I have to get to work.
