Jennifer Vaughan Maanavi: I was at about client of the Lotte Berk Method which was in New York City for about 30 years and it’s appropriately close and I was very disheartened and couldn’t find any exercise regiment in the city to place the Lotte Berk method was doing and I thought to myself in a while I been working on a long street for about 10 years I really think the city deserves another maybe even better Lotte Berk method. So I left long street and talk to the owner of the Lotte Berk method who gave me great advice which was call anytime if ever. I've been teaching the Lotte Berk method for many years, I started in the early 90 teaching this amazing technique and the thought occurred to me that this could be the next wave to hit the fitness industry. Very popular and exciting technique but I knew it needed a few adjustments. So I left working Morgan Stanley I call Tanya who was at that point living in Michigan and I picture my idea and that her and few weeks later she move back to New York and we started. Well going form Wall Street to the exercise world it made my wardrobe change dramatically. So I very often wear exercise clothing especially linen to work and I realize that it is so flattering and so comfortable that it ends up being what I wear outside of work so I have to say at this point there really is no outside or word its just exercise clothing all we done. Tanya Becker: I love peanut butter, I love almonds I do eat a lot of—that is my protein peanut butter almond mixing it with the carb and a little bit of fat that healthy fat avocado. A whole wheat grains, bread. During the day it’s a lot of little meals bananas, peanut butter, almonds, juices to keep the blood sugar level but I do like to have one you know, a day and it is usually whatever my body need sushi, I all eat a whole wheat pizza not the whole thing. Jennifer Vaughan Maanavi: We have been very fortunate to attract all sort of wonderful types of clients though we have famous TV personalities; Kelly Rebuck ,Cristy Darlington, the model, Kim Raver, Parker Posey and then, also quite a few fashion designers; Jill Stuart, Erin Featherston and Norma Kamali. Tanya Becker: You know everything unfolds since Jennifer and I started this business it’s always been the right timing and just not being in a big rush, I mean I'm happy that we have the DVD is out there so we can reach as many clients as possible. Men and women to share with them this fabulous technique but you know, one day at a time. Jennifer Vaughan Maanavi: We like to say that we follow a compass rather than the clock.
