Yes. There is some benefit to differing surgery while you‘re working on improving your muscle strength and doing what we would call therapy before surgery. We have to be a little careful though because for some women, they just can’t do that because their hip’s so worn out, there’s so much pain that they can’t do the exercises. The other thing we have to be careful about is to make sure that women aren’t delaying too long because if they can’t do the exercises, their muscles are just getting weaker.
