So this exercise is a pull-up. There are as many different ways to do a pull-up. You can do an overhand pull-up this way wide. You can do it a narrow here or you can go with reverse grip. The differences between all these is a wide grip here is going to work more on Latissimus Dorsi, these muscles right here and as you come in closer you are going to use more biceps and as you reverse grip this way you can use a lot more biceps. This is the easiest way, this is the hardest way. So the basic gist is you find a bar that's taller than you first. Then you hang doesn't matter where that your thumb is over there, over the top here or that way and you can cross your feet, anything you want doesn't matter. First motion is to set the scapula. So the first thing you do is arch your back, stick your chest out, then you basically pull the bar or your chin up over and come back down. So what you don't want is this where you are raising a shoulder. So the first motion is down then you keep them there. How to do a thing correctly is keep your shoulders up and do it this way the whole time.
