Hi I'm Dr. Debra from topworkoutsecrets.com and back to my kitchen, I just had my work out and interval training that I did some running with the dogs. And so I'm ready for my morning green smoothie. This morning, we’re going to try a recipe that is really simple but kind of different and unique and it has pears because pears are still in season here. So I've already got about a half of a pear in there because that’s I've started eating the pear this morning. And then I have one whole lime in there and it's peeled and that’s it, just chopped up in there. The hardest thing about this recipe is peeling a lime. If you make this one, I suggest you peel it over your blender container because you lose a lot of juice when you're taking that peel off. That peel is tough. So I'm going to cut up two more bartlet pears. Add about cup of water. I'm going to go get the lid. Blend up the fruit first. Okay and then I have a whole head of romaine lettuce. This is organic, crunchy romaine lettuce. Okay, my pretty smoothie glass, this is pretty thick so if you like yours thinner just add more water. If you like it colder, add some ice. Okay let’s see how this taste. That’s quite good. That’s a new concoction. So there you go. It's three pears and a lime, a head of romaine, the lime isn’t really strong. It gives it kind of a lightness against the pears. And so, there you have your morning pear smoothie. Give that a try. Let me know what you think and catch you next time with another recipe from topworkoutsecrets.com. have a great one!
