Peanut Masala with Brown Rice Pasta Recipe Jon: Hi Jon here I’m here with fitness on the run and today I am back with Julieanna Hever the Plant-Based Dietician and we’re going to use some more of Bushes home style sauce that you get whole foods because it so easy to use and— Julieanna: So delicious. Jon: Is so good so Julieanna what are we going to make today? Julieanna: Okay, so the peanut masala and how many times have you come after a long day of work and you’ll like “oh, I have to cook” by everyone hungry and you’re hungry and you just want it to be easy— so what you think of, pasta right, just throw in a bowl a pasta. So I figured to put delicious on pasta—but of course you want to make it happy if don’t have just regular pasta. You would like a whole wheat or whole grain pasta and today I happen to be allergic to wheat it’s. It’s sad but I have brown rice pasta and you could use this all sorts of different pasta but I would go for at least whole wheat or whole grain comes so easy you can get more of the fiber plus refine and we’ll throw in some veggies to make it healthy. Jon: All right, sounds good. Julieanna: So we just added the pasta into the boiling water and that’s going to be hardest part of this bowl— Jon: Freezing Julieanna: Now you have to wait. Okay so the pasta it looks perfectly the right time so we’re going to add the vegetables now. Jon: Okay. Julieanna: You added it a regular to the stir fry mix, just there frozen vegetable make. Jon: Just happens to be organic. Julieanna: Yeah, of course organic, will try to get a grain I could never talk of but yeah but it’s a great mix of vegetable, - clean for those crazy days and the easy you can do just top have frozen. Okay, so we just strained the pasta with vegetable, we will set it for about five minutes it look perfectly ready to, soft but not too soft and we put it in a wok and now our time to add the peanut masala. You add some -. Jon: That’s a little thick, cool. Julieanna: Looks thick. They also look different texturely in color. Jon: And just the as the peanut and— Julieanna: Yeah, it looks like a ground peanut. Smell so good, yum with all of it, we need all of it, you have all of it any of it. This is going to be the easies most delicious dinner in what? It took like fifty minutes with cooking time right, nothing. And while the pasta is boiling, you can go get change into your jammies, you get a glass of wine unwind and then you’re ready to go, we just mix it all together and presto we got dinner. Jon: That’s looks fantastic. Julieanna: Let’s try it. Jon: So we’re all plated it now. We got all of this fantastic food and let’s give it a shot. Julieanna: Cheers. I’m honest just peanut with a ton of spices. Jon: Yeah. Julieanna: Taste so good. Jon: Definitely taste the peanut and slices are amazing. Julieanna: It’s like that nutty rich home maid, wow it’s really good, it’s excellent. Jon: Oh it’s fantastic, the visual are cook perfectly. Julieanna: And then we’re going to - and it’s so easy right. Jon: Right, yeah. Julieanna: You need cut or cleaner. Jon: And it as usual that is exactly the same right? Julieanna: Oh yeah, it something that way. Jon: Right. Julieanna: Sometimes it’s better because it flash frozen. It goes directly to the baggage so you won't have any trouble to your house so you change your preserve. So it giving you an easier and you can unwind after a long day at work plus a healthy dinner.
