Patient Advice on Multiple Sclerosis The one advice I would give is that just because you have MS doesn’t mean that life has to stop. MS, in women in particular, I think women tend to take on so much and even in dual income families and even with the very supportive husband, I still think that this maybe a little bit bias but women tend to overall and manage the family and take on a lot in their lives. I think that it is important to realize that they can continue to do so. Women with MS can continue to be involved. They continue to work and take care of their families. They just need to realize that they have this disease and they need to take care of themselves as well.
