In both versions of this exercise, you want to make sure that your back knee never rest on the ground and your front thigh never goes beyond being parallel with the floor. I know it might appear that our back knees are resting on the floor but our knees never, ever, ever touch the mat and you don't want to rest. You want to keep them up as working all the time.
