Nutrient Dense Foods Options Nutrient Dense foods are your know leafy greens, things that have a lot of nutrients and calcium, folic acid things like that. Things that are really hearty you know brown rice is a really nutrient dense food. It’s got a lot of fibers; it’s got some protein in it. And we need these you know for our body to kind of rebuilt, recover for energy, for vitality. You know we need these types of foods that are — that have a lot of nutrients in it. Any kind of whole food that you get you know and kind of in vegetables going to have a lot of nutrients and then of course every vegetable has different nutrients so you want to get a variety — a large variety so eat a lot of colors. You know, you always want to have a lot of colors when you’re — whenever you’re eating so that will kind of qualify that you’re getting enough nutrients. It’s really important to understand what you’re eating and to read labels because we don’t want to put a lot of synthetic or artificial ingredients into our bodies. We want to eat foods that are whole, natural, that have the least amount of processing. Any kind of synthetic you know processed foods are really overtime going to build up in your body as another one of those slow poisons and just will down the road it cause some kind of issue or disease or digestive problems so it’s really important to read labels and get food that has the least amount of ingredients or make sure that you can pronounce whatever is on then label because a lot of times there’s you know there’s things on these labels that you just can’t pronounce and who knows what that is and who knows what bit will do until in a long term. So it’s better to just kind of eat as cleanly as possible and has minimal amount of ingredients if you’re going to buy any kind of processed food.
