Nathan talks about his 500 PR Deadlift and the issues he is having with his right knee and right elbow.

Bill: Okay, Nathan Stivers, this is week, well. Where are we? Session? 4th one? Nathan: I think so. Bill: 4th session. Okay, how is it going? What's happening? Nathan: It’s going good. We worked on the hips in the past. Everything is still pretty free there. Haven’t really felt any discomfort or anything like that. Wouldn’t be squatting and stuff. The biggest areas where I felt tension coming in today were my knee. Round around the patella tendon, knee cap area. Just had a lot of tension. I was kind of guarding while I was squatting and stuff. Just kind of didn’t really feel powerful or 100% in the movement. Worked on it today, freed it up quite a bit. Whatever the techniques are called that Bill use around the knee cap. And then also I've been experiencing some, I guess tension or weakness in the elbow area. When I pronate and extend, kind of this movement here. Limits my grip a little bit. Any extension. Worked on that as well and it feels pretty good. Not holding anywhere the amount of the weakness or tension that was there before. So, good session. Bill: Cool. Good deal when you had that 500 pound pull. Nathan: Yeah, pulled 500 pounds, my dead lift on Wednesday. And that was like a 25 pound PR for me. Hopefully I get 550 here the next couple of months.
