The incision was made on the same incision line or on the scar of my c-section. So the incision for this particular myomectomy was a little bit bigger than I know that is done with other myomectomies because they just used the same spot to go in and the fibroid, it was just so big. They needed a little extra room, from what I understand, to basically take it out in pieces. The recovery, although in all surgeries it always hurts, the recovery was so easy for me because I knew that thing was out and I knew my uterus was there and was healthy. I think I was just in the hospital for three days or so, not very long, and I went home and recovered there. but I also had a toddler at home and it really wasn’t very long. It was maybe a week or so where I felt a considerable amount of pain but it wasn’t bad, and then I was up walking and exercising and chasing a toddler around shortly thereafter. So it wasn’t bad at all.
