My Corrective Eye Surgery Advice - Catherine's Story We always fear the worst. That’s kind of a human nature thing, and at the very worst you may feel a little pinch, but you know, if there’s anything more than that you’ll get through it because the body heals. The body is a miraculous mechanism, organism and to trust and to have faith in the skill and have faith and trust in the technology and to find yourself a good physician in your area. We are blessed here in the area that we are in to have Dr. Wendy Wooten and I kind of interviewed her and discussed something. I didn’t have the traditional surgery either. I had one called monotomic. In other words she geared my eyes so that I could read very close and very far away. It took a little extra time for your brain to adjust in that, but it’s not something that’s typically on an average done every day. So we discussed those options as well. I wanted the option of being able to read very close and because I knew as I was traveling in on the road maps were changing for me as I was trying to find directions, and so we discussed this and I trust her as an eye doctor for me and as an M.D. So, if I would recommend it, I would recommend it and if you are local definitely to Dr. Wendy Wooten. I have been through it. I have faith that, you know, she would be in good hands and also that you would come out as happy as I did.
