I think having a child like Jenny and going through everything and wondering why someone so young would have to experience all of what life held for her. This child had two intubations. We were told might not make her third birthday by the time she was five she had baby cataracts, by the time she was 10 she had osteoporosis in her lower back and hips. When you have a child like that and then you have this long battle and it ends so quickly and so harshly and you wonder what was their purpose? Why were they put here and maybe if I could help one other parent, I’m doing that to help other parents. I’m doing that to keep her memory alive and to say that maybe this was her purpose.
