Raena Morgan: Have you seen an increase in the people who are seeking naturopathic care? Dr. Todd Ferguson: Yeah, we have definitely seen an increase and part of that's evidenced by looking at the naturopathic medicals schools. If you look at the enrollment in naturopathic medical schools they have tripled, sometimes even 10-fold increase their enrollment in their graduating class. And that's largely due to people wanting to see naturopathic doctors. If you look at the costs that Americans spend on alternative medicine, those are going up, up and up more and more people are using what's called alternative medicine and like wise in older naturopathic practitioners than I know of and speak to they talk about how yes, more and more people are seeking that type of care and I've seen it in the areas that I've lived. Once people hear about what we do, what we offer, it seems to make a lot of sense to people. People are sick of not knowing what's going on with their health been a by standard kind at all take this I'll take it whatever I don't know what I'm doing. People are tired of not feeling well and they are starting to seek out methods that don't have the side effects that say, similar medications are. They are seeking out ways what can I do, what can I personally do to take charge of my health to improve my the way I feel, just through what I eat -- these so many people are confused about what to eat because they hear so many different ideas. Raena Morgan: Yeah, they do. Dr. Todd Ferguson: And a lot of the food we eat to start even recognize its as food so people want to know how do I eat, how do I live to feel better and so I think there is been quite a resurgents and people seeking a natural health care. Raena Morgan: Because it is so personalized. Dr. Todd Ferguson: Yeah, there are another issue is it's very personalized. So many people appreciate sitting down for an hour really going through their whole health history and they build stress busy in patient and the doctor and it just feels -- they feel like they are treated with dignity and respect that I'm a person and I wish you -- I would like to say all my issues and be heard and listen to and have those addressed, but at the same time without as many side effects and consequences of medication. We are treating the whole person, so its not necessarily how is one exclusive therapy trying to accomplish everything through on herb. But we are doing the whole person that some communication, some counseling, adjusting nutrition, adjusting exercise maybe some herbs, and all that together they all have small effects that together have a big effect in helping the person to feel better. Raena Morgan: Very good. Thank you. Dr. Todd Ferguson: Thank you.
