I was really inspired by meeting another woman during chemotherapy and hearing their stories and then started doing little pieces of awareness work over about a years time before I met Annette and then when I met Anette at the wellness community she was speaking about ovarian cancer national alliances national agenda and I and another friend went and we w ere just really inspired by what she had to say. We didn’t know that there was national agenda. I think it was just something that they had just announced and everything that she talked about was exactly what my friend Heather and I had been talking about that needed to be done in the Phoenix area. So, really was just inspired by Anette’s attitude and her knowledge and that we could work together to help women in Arizona be diagnosed early and if they are diagnosed, to help them live better and hopefully help the medical community be more informed about ovarian cancer.
