I'm Cheryl Forberg, author of “Positively Ageless.” It’s important to remember that your calcium requirements go up when you menopause so be sure to focus on a lot of calcium rich foods such as low fat and fat-free cheeses, yogurt and milk and to minimize some of the uncomfortable symptoms of menopause such as hot flushes, traditional soy foods can be very beneficial. These include thing such as tofu and edamame. However, if you have breast cancer or have a concern about it, please discuss this with your doctor before supplementing your diet with soy.
