Melania Trump Interview Part 2 Hostess: Welcome back everybody, we’re joined again by Melania Trump. She is the wife of Donald Trump, she’s a model and entrepreneur and an activist and I would love to ask you first and foremost about parenting. You—this is your first child, Barren are your first child. Melania Trump: He is. Hostess: What was it like being a first time mom especially knowing that Donald had already been through this before? Melania Trump: Very special, you know I think you need to enjoy every moment because the time flies goes very fast. Barren is already four years old, I can’t believe it myself. He’s a little man— Hostess: He’s golfing right now? Melania Trump: He’s golfing, he’s playing tennis, golf, swimming, and he really loves sport and a fantastic boy. Very special, special boy, he speaks three languages— Hostess: Three languages? Melania Trump: Three languages and you know I just say to every mom there, just enjoy it. It goes very fast and they are very precious little babies. Hostess: Now true or false because I heard a little rumor that Donald does not change diapers at all, did I get that right? Melania Trump: And I’m okay with that. Hostess: And he doesn’t pat him either. Melania Trump: No more, I mean he’s not in diapers anymore but he never changes and I’m okay with that because I feel that’s my job, that I love it, I love every second of it so I think I’m fine with it. He has other jobs to do. Hostess: That’s true, big jobs to do, do you think he wants to have more kids? Melania Trump: I always say I have two boys now, I have a big boy and a small boy so I’m very busy and especially with my jewelry and time pieces coming out. Hostess: Right. Melania Trump: I’m very busy. Hostess: And speaking of the jewelry and time pieces, something that we didn’t get a chance to mention earlier in this show, people see you and they would think you know what if she has a jewelry line out, its going to be sky high expensive. That’s what a lot of women would assume but your pieces are very affordable and you did that on person, can you tell me why? Melania Trump: I did it on purpose because I want women across the country to feel beautiful, elegant, and special and they could buy for themselves something that they desire. They don’t have to spend thousands of thousands of dollars and they could really afford it and feel special and I had women in my mind when I designed it. So for example this is the bracelet that is the Paris collection and this was the inspiration I got, it’s a bracelet I got when my son Baron was born from my husband, so its really beautiful and very special and I would wear it for example for dinner or when I’m going out. Hostess: You did a great job and women are going to thank you for that trust me too and I know you’re also devoted to helping out other people. You are very involved with the police athletic league, the boys club of New York, also the good will ambassador for the American Red Cross. What makes you so passionate about going out and helping other people? Melania Trump: Well I like to help people you know, they’re not all fortunate, they need our help and it’s good to give help. Hostess: That’s great and in terms of the commercials because we have to talk about the Affleck commercial, everybody knows you from that commercial. What was your experience like doing that and filming it? Melania Trump: It was a lot of fun. Hostess: Really? Melania Trump: Actually it’s a lot and lot of fun, we shot it in Los Angeles and we had a great time, it was a few years ago. Hostess: That’s good and I know you’re going out to promote the jewelry line, what else do you have coming up in the future? Melania Trump: Just being a mommy, being a wife, being a designer, doing a lot and lot of stuff. Hostess: You are very busy. Melania Trump: Very busy, my schedule is very busy. Hostess: I’m so glad that you took the time out to stop by, thank you so much. Melania Trump: Thank you. Hostess: You did a gre
