Medication for Diabetics to Protect Heart Health An empowered woman, which is the goal of these tapes, is to empower women, so yes, I am telling 40-year-old women, you better be not just on drugs to lower your glucose or your sugar for the diabetes, but you should be on an aspirin, beta-blocker, especially an ace inhibitor, and a statin. If not, go get another doctor. If your doctor is not willing to put you on that, go find another doctor because your doctor is not doing you any service.
