Meal Wheel Nutrition Tip Liz Vaccariello: And then finally we have something -- when we’re cooking at home, we have something called the wheel meal which tells you how to divide your plate in a healthy way. Dr. Travis Stork: So, if you divide a plate into six parts, at least one of those parts should be protein. You’re looking at salmon there, two parts whole grains, brown rice, whole wheat bread then three out of the six, so really half the plate, loaded with fruits and veggies. Liz Vaccariello: Right. And another tip is to eat the fruits and veggies first and then also don’t -- the idea is not to eliminate entire food groups, not to eliminate entire food. No diet is going to work, unless, you can eat with your family and friends. If you can eat at home, you can eat out.
