Mayo Clinic's Model of Care Benefits I think that Mayo Clinic has multiple advantages in the way that we practice in managing our patients with endometrial cancer. First and foremost is we have surgeons and specialists who deal on a daily basis with patients with endometrial cancer and have a significant volume of patients with cancer of the uterus. We have all the diagnostic capabilities to workup these patients, and we have a quick turnaround. Meaning because we are housed all under one roof, I can get the biopsy, send it to the pathology lab, our pathologists and cytopathologists work up and process the tissue, and I can get the results back in 48 hours or earlier if I need to. Where, in many institutions I hear patients having to wait weeks before they actually get the results. So I can get those results very, very quickly. Also we can get you in for treatment much quicker because we are working hand-in-hand, for example, with our radiation oncologist, our medical oncologist, and our anesthesia colleagues. So I think we are able to more efficiently process patients through to get them to the operating suite in a more rapid and efficient fashion.
