But it’s more for the business types and I fell like I have a profile and I’m updating actually. It says for relationship, it says single or married? And I’m looking at this and I get Jennifer to come over and I said, what—What is this? Single or married? So this mean, these are the two things; these are our two options, right? So you’ve be en at the person. You love this person more than anything in the world that guy, that girl, whatever. You’ve been together f or like 10, 20 years and if it’s not blessed by the religious institution, I’m the quarter there and the local government— Female: Yeah. Male: Or the local government, it doesn’t count seriously? How lame and bogus is that? That’s my personal tell. I just think it’s totally, utterly lame and bogus. Female: It tends it will wind up on this… Male: I am anyway. Oh, and it gets better. Some others are not only liking them but this really got us thinking. Some others sites where I get stuffs like our, are you like divorced? Widowed? So, the fact that you are single today but you had a relationship twenty years ago, and whether or not that person is still alive, that defines who you are today, seriously? Talk about baggage and that is not who you are today. So, this is just a sort of hard fats on this thing. Female: Okay. So, are these the only options that we have? We have to be single, married, divorced or widowed? Ewe! Male: Ewe! Nasty! Female: None of the above, okay? So, we did some research and really from my perspective, who cares, it’s nobody’s business unless you are on a dating side, it really doesn’t matter at all, but what about social media? So we thought, well, it could be okay maybe. Male: Yeah. You would not know what girl you can hit on, what guy you can hit on, right? Female: Yeah. So, Male: You are not the single or not. Female: We did some research and our favorite social media like Facebook, they got it right. That waits well, okay, sort o f… Male: Most of the way. Female: Okay. I have to read t his so I won’t miss one. Here’s what they have. They have single, right? Male: Yeah. Female: They don’t have divorce, that’s good. You can be single in a relationship, that’s good. I like that one. Did they have engaged and married, I’m not sure what that matters. Male: You have been blessed by the church, blessed, I said. Female: You know from our prospective, either you’re in a relationship or you’re not, it’s complicated. I like that one because I think that’s probably where 80% of people fall. Male: Oh, My God. You are bizarre. Female: In an open relationship… Male: Ahh— Female: Hmmm. We’re making progress. Male: Is there such a thing? Female: And then you know, widowed. It was going so well when they threw in widow… Male: And they have to talk about somebody who died? You always got time for somebody who died. I mean it sucks when somebody dies but you really have to put your ears on that. Female: Okay, so, that’s our two’s on telling the whole thing. We have a question for you. Well, actually first, here is what we think the option should be, okay? Single, right, you’re not in a relationship of any kind. N an exclusive relation ship whether you’re married, common law married, gay, straight whatever, right? You’re not in a one-on-one relationship. Male: And you’re not looking fro somebody else to hook up with— Female: Correct. And if you are, how about in an open relationship that seems to be becoming more and more popular and I do think that’s a good differentiation, right? And it’s complicated.
