Marinara Rice Cake Snack Juliana: Hi, Dawn and Juliana here. We are back with a super simple snack period part two. This time we are going to make something that I use to make for like in college when I want to get a quick snack. And look girls, it’s so addicting, I love this to my— It is like a parmesan kind of a thing without the parmesan. So it is a healthy version like a parmesan we can call it. It so simple I love the thing called corn fins, they are basically like rice cakes but they are corn. And they are really skinny and they have a really good texture and that may hold differently well. So you can use a rice cake or a cracker, but I like I am using corn fins for today. So all you got to do is to take the corn fin and then I sliced up a big whack a total plain and simple. And I am going to do this in a second. First I am going to take— I just took out oil for marinara sauce and heated up in the microwave for a few seconds. Just to get it warm, you take the marinara sauce, spread on there. Do you like marinara sauce? Dawn: I love it. Juliana: Like that and then we cut a little bit of basil just to add that fast and all the extra flavor and the green to it. Here we have one green that often that do possibly can, and you just take the tofu and place it right on top. Just like cheese, like where you would with cheese. Dawn: It looks great. Juliana: Is that easy? Dawn: Simple. Juliana: You want to try it? Dawn: Yes, I am going to try it when you make your other one. Juliana: I am crossing my fingers that you like it. Dawn: This is good. Juliana: Because I know you will be honest. It is right? I kept a picture of it, it is like a crave it. Dawn: So this is totally another healthy snack that you guys can have it home. If you are always wondering what do I get for a snack? This is it, this is what you eat. Juliana: I store the marina sauce that stays forever and you could wait a block of tofu. Dawn: Simple, quick, easy I mean everything that you are looking for right here. Now we are also going to pair this up with a little bit of wine. Now keep us telling us a little bit about the benefits because I know we all have social situation where we need to go out and keep on drinking. So tell us a little bit about why wine is going to better options? Juliana: And it is the best option actually, you can do better than choosing wines and it is full of— it got phytochemicals on it. And that is - not as hard to think two for snack period. But it is super simple snack but it got anti-oxidants in there and it also has a lot less calories. If you are going to have— like an alcohol drink that is full of sugar, cut the stress, fermented grapes. Dawn: Right. Juliana: And it taste really good.
