Margo Rey and Ron White on Surviving Breast Cancer Travis Stork: Please welcome singer/song writer Margo Rey and her fiancé two time Grammy nominated and New York Times best selling author and comedian Ron White. Thank you both for joining us today and obviously fairly have these subjects we’re discussing. Cancer, but we’re trying to be hopeful and say detection is a key and in your case, how did you discover that you have breast cancer? Margo Rey: Ron actually found the lump. Ron White: Yeah, it’s a good thing it wasn’t liver thing because I can't keep my hands off her liver. But one morning I just rolled over and I put my hand right here and this finger landed right on top of just a tiny lump that was a bearable fore and even what I felt with my finger was not detectable the next day on a mammogram they still didn’t see it they had to go to a sonogram to see it. That was another great thing. Jay is a friend of ours Jay McGraw the producer of the show and so when we were freaking out we were able to call him and he had access to these fine doctors they gave us immediate direction and really it worked out as good as it could have possibly worked out. Lisa Masterson: That’s great, I mean you thank him everyday huh? Ron White: She sure does.
