Marclaren Triumph Baby Stroller Review Hi I’m Erica with Babyssentials.com and I'll be your host today. I’m going to talking about the Marclaren triumph stroller. This is Marclaren’s kind of mid-level stroller except above this will be the Quest which we’ve already reviewed. You can check that out in our website and then if you want something a little bit more basic, you might want to try the Marclaren’s Volo which we hope to see your viewing soon. So you can look forward to viewing that, I’ll review as well. This is the triumph, it’s very easy to fold and unfold and when it’s folded up, a great feature that this stroller has. It has kind of shoulder strap so you can carry it around easily. It’s extremely lightweight. It’s a little bit heavier than the Quest is. This is eleven pounds but you can still easily pick it up. If I can pick it up, you can pick it up. Trust me. This has lockable duo wheels, so all you have to do to lock it into place is just snap it back and it locks right in. That’s the break. It has normal swivel wheels that you can lock these into place if you’re on kind of bumpy terrain or what not. All you have to do to lock the wheels in place is to just simply snap down the clip like that and they lock right in. Now in terms of this comfort features, this features ergonomic foam, grip handles so they’re very comfortable if you’re going for a longer walk. In terms of comfort for your babies, it has a padded seat and it’s actually able to recline. This actually has kind of a more manual recline where if you go a step up with the Quest, it has kind of a more mechanical recline feature. I also want to mention that the Volo which is the step below the Triumph does not recline. So if you do want some sort of a recline feature, you’re going to have to go with the Triumph or the Quest. It also comes with a 5-point harness which you can actually adjust to the height of your baby. It has a footrest here which is great. This does not have the extendable leg rest which the Quest has. So if you’re looking for something with a leg rest you can’t get that with the Triumph. The new for 2009 is this bigger canopy up above which is great. It can block out a lot more of the UV light. The one thing that I don’t like about the Triumph is there is no window. So you can’t kind of peek down, and your baby can’t peek up at you. The Quest however does have a window, so that’s something to think as well but it is nice to have this larger canopy feature. It also has, if you look down below it. It has this storage unit here. I will note that when the seat is fully reclined, it’s a little bit more difficult to put things in and to take things out. But when the seat is forward, it’s a little bit easier. But it is a nice size storage feature for an umbrella stroller. To collapse the stroller, all that you have to do is kick this up and then kick this lever down on the side and then if you just push forward, it will collapse really easily and you’ll hear a click when this side puts into place. In order to unclasped the stroller and to use it, all you have to do is unclip this side and then just kick the middle down until you hear a click and then you’re ready to stroll. Now one of the best things about the Marclaren Triumph is of course it has a lifetime warranty. So if feel safe buying this product, it’s a great product. It’s a great umbrella stroller. Again, it’s very lightweight, easy to use, and very functional. My name is Erica with Babyssentials.com. I hope that you find this review helpful. This is the Marclaren Triumph. Have a great day, see you soon!
