Lauralee Christensen: They didn’t do this. Tell us your history because when I got to know you, I thought, “Oh, this is somebody I can really learn. She understands.” Paula Fellingham: Yes, very cool. Marci Loughmiller: Well I guess the reason I’m doing this and it’s my passion, is because I relate to every women and every person really struggling with their weight. It’s because I had a background where I started with my weight my entire life. I even went to the extreme anorexia and bulimia. Even after that, I said, this is a good way to go. So I started with the diet, the pills, the quick fixes, everything, every program. And I really hit a point in my life which I consider my transformation in a moment where I said, “You know what, either stop and love yourself just the way you are, fat and sluggish, or do something about it.” And I said for things to change I have to change but I realize I was like well what can I do that I haven’t already done. If I tried everything there is, if I’ve tried every diet pill, quick fix, everything, what can I try? And really what happened to me was, divine inspiration whispered in my ear, you haven’t tried education. Paula Fellingham: Wow! Marci Loughmiller: And that was my transformation moment. Lauralee Christensen: And the picture on your website, 70 pounds. Marci Loughmiller: Yeah, 70 pounds overweight, that was after two kids, that was me eating like a rabbit, eating like a rabbit, working out hours in the gym. Paula Fellingham: She can relate to this. Suzanne has a little bit of a similar journey. Suzanne Peterson: I know, I got four kids and you know, it takes a lot of work, less effort. Lauralee Christensen: So what do you mean by being a fat burning machine. I want to do it but it doesn’t sound possible. Marci Loughmiller: No it’s totally but that’s a cool thing is that we’re we grow up with so many influences, the media society we’re so limited on what we think we should be doing. And so really what I want to teach people is how to be a fat burning machine, it’s how to work with your body. So when you learn to work with your body and you use education, that’s what really is my transformation moment. Instead of reaching for a diet pill or quick fix, I said okay, what can I try and then it was education, I dedicated my life to it. When I learned how to eat to be a fat burning machine and I learned how to exercise to maximize my result. I learned how to do it as a life. It just fell off. Paula Fellingham: Yeah, how do you do this? Marci Loughmiller: Okay. Let’s get some tips and secrets. For instance when I understand, let’s say that I’m done with the diets, the pills, quick fix is right, no more -- evolve in there, no more working hours at the gym, no more
