Lower body stretches in Yoga for Dancers On behalf of TVlesson.com this is Nene Ortega with NeneOrtegaBaila.com. In this clip I'm going to show you stretch very important for yoga for tangeros. Tangeros, we need our hamstring and very long also for the lower back this is a wonderful stretch. So we keep our knees in the side, we’re going to bring the right knee inside and we’re going to stretch. So if you are very flexible you bring it up. Otherwise, you hold it here so you don’t have any injury. So let’s start again so you breathe in, exhale, now breathe in again and as you exhale you lower the other leg. That will give you a stretch in here and this. Then you're going to take your hand—I'm going to show you with the other leg. If you are flexible enough, otherwise you put your hand here. We open and you take your leg to the side. Long leg to the side. You can stretch. Then you bring it back making a triangle and you're going to twist your body. So you're going to create a counter body pose again and this will give you a connection with your partner on the dance floor and you're twisted. And you can do all the beautiful embellishments that we do in tango. So I'm going to repeat the pose, bring it in and inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale, inhale and open it. When you stretch you exhale. Bring it in and inhale and as you twist and twist to exhale into the pose you relax. So when you come back you make another triangle, you insert your hand and you bring your legs inside. This pose is wonderful for the lower back and sciatic.s On behalf of TVlesson.com this has been Nene Ortega, thank you for watching.
