Lori's Heart Transplant Story Lori: 20 years ago I had a heart attack, two weeks after my first child was born. And the one night, I just had another like relapsed. They told I had congestive heart failure. As soon as they saw me, they said I need a heart transplant. Before my heart attack, I was a body builder. I was very active. I don’t have a quality of life right now. I get out breath sometimes just talking. Not being able to breath is a horrible point. You don’t know when it’s going to quit. Male: The generation in the last two months has been just staggering. I don’t know how she does it. Lori: I’m on the pip line that’s like a catheter that feeds the medicine every hour that it’s basically my life line. Female: She’s been stressed about her heart so all I hope is that she’ going to get a heart soon.
