Leigh Ann's PMS Advice Well, if they are researching it, they’re doing the first most important thing is that they are finding out that that’s what this is because once you put a name on something, you can kind of compartmentalize it and be like, this is what I need to focus on. Vitamins have helped me immensely. I learned from the doctor that everything is just kind of depleted and I have to keep myself healthy, you know, keep taking the vitamins. If they have the emotional trouble like I do where it used to make me suicidal when I was a teenager, if I had known that I could come out of it in a week and I just had to knuckle down and like grit my teeth and bear it through it, maybe just do whatever you do to cope if it’s healthy, but allow yourself to be in it and know that you are going to come out of it and know that that Monday when you are finally off your period, you’re going to be like normal again and you won’t even remember it. So just the health bit, like I’ve started doing yoga, and that has helped a lot just because I would just, stress can compound it so much and anything you can do to de-stress, you know. And eat that chocolate that you want. You know a lot, don’t be like, oh, I am on a diet, or I can’t do these certain things. You have to let yourself be what you are right now, and it’s not yourself, but it’s something you have to live with. And I don’t know, that’s how I have had to work it. Balance the healthy stuff with, but not being anal, you know, not being like, if I don’t do this, I am not going to make it.
