Female Speaker: Welcome to Prevention's amazing Defy Your Age Challenge. Yoga is one of the best ways to beat stress, which can make you look and feel older than you are. All you need to get started is five minutes a day. For this restorative posture you are going to slide your hips as close to the wall as possible and then swing your legs up. Leg should be straight, but they may rotate in or out slightly. Just be sure you are in a relax posture, because you are going to be holding this pose for about five minutes. Hands are going to be out to either side of the hips in a V. So elbows are straight; palms are facing up towards the ceiling. Hold this pose as you inhale deeply through the nose and then exhale again out through the nose. To feel a deeper connection with your breath, you may want to hold your hands on to your stomach so that you feel your breath coming in and going back out.
