(Music Playing) In part three of the back massage-videos, I want to show you how to properly apply Circular Friction. In circle of friction you have a bottom hand and a top hand. (Demo) The bottom hand is always the hand that is closer to the feet. So if you stand on the left-hand side of the client, your right-hand side will be the bottom hand and the left will be on top of it. If you can stand on the right side of the client, your left hand will be your bottom hand and the right will be on top of that. (Demo) The top hand is merely there for the reason to protect your fingers and to get a little bit more pressure and so that is your fingers do not get tired. The reason why you worked with the bottom hand in the way I said is because the line of drive determines what kind of pressure is going to be on your fingers. So, you should always work in the direction of your fingers. (Demo) So it means the line of drive is along the spine. (Demo) And that will put a lot of less pressure on your fingers. To show you this example with the other hand if I would use the left hand as the bottom hand, (Demo) You would see that the line of drive is somewhere 45 across to the other side. That means a lot of pressure on the fingers. (Music Playing)
