Hello! I'm Dr Hallam. I'm one of the trainers here at Cosmetic Courses. My background is that I'm a GP, and I've been doing cosmetic medicine for five years now. Here at Cosmetic Courses, we prefer people to start off with a foundation course, which is a group one-day course, where in the morning we cover theory, looking at facial assessment, the muscles of the face, the different types of drugs and medical devices that are used in facial aesthetics nowadays which is largely botulinum toxin and dermal fillers. And in the afternoon, we move on to small groups where we demonstrate Botox in the upper face and facial dermal fillers. Then you'll have the opportunity to break into smaller groups still where we provide models so that you can learn to do Botox competently. Once you've done the foundation course, then we like to move on to one-to-one training, which we can arrange at your convenience here at the clinic. And during that day, you will have personal training where we have a number of models coming in, where you can practice doing Botox first of all, so that you'll leave at the end of the day feeling fully confident to go into your own clinic and carry out Botox. We also introduce you to dermal fillers and the practical use of those. You'll get the opportunity to carry out several procedures, usually doing nasal labial folds, the glabellar lines around the lips and possibly seeing more advanced procedures, if the models are requesting those sorts of procedures. This should leave you feeling very confident to go out and start your own business, and that's something else that we can also talk to you about; your own business needs, talk to you about business models and setting up your own clinic or how you plan to continue in aesthetics. Once you've finished all the foundation in the one-to-one courses, then if you wish, you can move on to more advanced procedures. We start off with a group advanced course and that will take you into more advanced filler procedures such as cheek augmentation. We're very keen on keeping up with the latest techniques here at Cosmetic Courses, so that we can have an open forum to discuss more advanced techniques and other types of procedures that you might wish to go on and take part in; courses such as chemical peels, sclerotherapy and other procedures like that. So if you'd like to come along, if you'd like to inquire about what might be most suitable for you, then I'm Dr. Hallam, and we're here at Cosmetic Courses. Thank you.
