Neuropathy Types of neuropathy Dr. Jeffery Glaser: There are three different types of neuropathies there is sensory neuropathy which is diabetic neuropathy, motor neuropathy or autonomic neuropathy the most common one is diabetic sensory neuropathy the sensor neuropathy basically means the feeling sensation in your feet that's what basically eluded to sensory neuropathy, motor neuropathy deals with the actual muscles the nerve damage can progress to a damage the muscular control and people with some of these. Autonomic neuropathy typically deals with the autonomic nervous system were people patients can have conditions were as the sweat glands are not producing adequate secretions and they have and the patients will have conditions with their out with their intestines so these are the typically that the three classifications of neuropathy.
