Dr. Ann: Fruits and vegetables are the universal life preserver foods and you know what I can prove it to you. When we take we know. Fruits and vegetables offer the following health benefits. They will decrease your risk of heart disease, lower your blood pressure, helps protect your vision, protect you from Type 2 diabetes. Protect you from tons of different cancers and last but not the least they will help you in maintenance of a healthy body weight. I consider them the magic bullet foods when it comes to a life long successful body weight. The bottom line is this, the more the better but any improvement you could make by including more fruits and vegetables in your day is well worth it.
