Female Speaker: Jump rope the primary muscle groups involved in jump rope are Trapezius, anterior and posterior deltoids, biceps, forearm, hip, hamstring, quadriceps, triceps, gluteus maximus and the calve. The support muscles used are the Pectoralis and the upper and lower abdominals. There are no ancillary muscles used in jump rope.
