Female Speaker: Gymnastics, The primary muscle groups involved in gymnastics are the trapezius, anterior and posterior deltoids, pectorals, biceps, forearm, hip, Quadriceps, and the Triceps. The support muscles used are the anterior serratus, hamstring, upper and lower abdominals, latissimus dorsi, gluteus maximus, and the calf. There are no auxiliary muscles used in gymnastics.
