Obesity is a clinical condition occurring when the amount of excess fat on the persons body impost physiological function and reduces life expectancy. Disease in the symptoms associated with obesity are many and varied heart disease, stroke, hypertension and diabetes are the ones to really look out for. But did you know that obesity can cause sleep apnea, gallbladder and liver disease, infertility and problems with menstruation and obviously lower back pain and sore joints. Not to mention the fatigue factor due to carrying around all those extra kilos. The bigger one gets the harder it is to loss weight, an average size person has about 30 to 35 billion fat cells. These increase in size with over consumption of food. And if you keep up the over eating gain they eventually increase in number two. The trapeze when you try to loss weight, the size of the fat cells decreases but the number stays the same making it easier for you to gain back all the weight you’ve loss on your crash diet in a flash. You become the human yoyo that just gets bigger and bigger with each pulsing fat so what’s the solution? Many people site the modern sedentary lifestyle as the main reason for obesity. Other says that due to over mineral poor souls we don’t derive enough nutrients from our food and bench as a result. Still others point the finger it takes out. John Street: We know that we need to do better in improving the quality of our lives, we know that you know we need to exercise and drink water and eat fruits and vegetables you know when things like that to our diets we already know this things and it says mostly, for most of us it’s a matter of summoning the will and the courage and let’s say I’m going to do this. In his book’s Sweet Poison David Gallespe points the finger at fructose as the cost of the obesity epidemic, high fructose corn syrup is now in many foods. Yet our bodies have very few fructose receptors. Where does the excess fructose gone? Straight to the lever where it is turn to dangerous fatty acids and squatted into the blood stream. Could this be the silent killer we’ve all been looking for, it’s certainly worth chewing the fat over. Everybody knows it’s important to eat a wide range of foods from the five food groups to maintain fantastic health. But what’s the use of healthy food unless you prepare it in a healthy manner. The type of oil you use can make or break a dish. One of the healthiest oil around is olive. Olive oil is a monounsaturated fat, it enhances HDL the good cholesterol in your bloodstream and to discourages bad cholesterol. It has anti inflammatory properties that benefit blood vessels into joints and this pot with plant sterols and polyphenol which may prevent the range of cancers. Choose extra virgin olive oil this is from the first cold pressing of the olives. Avoid fewer and light olive oils as these are arrive from inferior fruits and our extracted with the help of ultra heat and to chemicals. Not many nutrients can survive this process, a bit of extra virgin as added at the end to restore color and add a bit of flavor. Some oils such as corn and sunflower are loaded with Omega 6’s which cause inflammation of the joints and cardiovascular system. Olive oil has Omega 6’s too but these are nicely counter balance by Omega 3’s which will keep you healthy of hot and out of home worry. Olives have been a price crop in the Mediterranean for 6000 years.
