Neptune is the eight planets from the sun. It is primarily composed of Hydrogen, Helium, and traces of Methane. Neptune’s orbit takes 6223 days, and diameter is over 49,000 kilometers, or just over 3 ½ earth. Neptune has the strongest wind of any planet in the solar system with upper most atmosphere reaching minus 218 degrees Celsius. However, the interior is very hot, and this helps cause the strong winds. It is also not uncommon for Neptune to experience extremely violent hurricanes. Neptune has 13 known moons, and the largest Triton was discovered just 17 days after the planet was discovered itself. Triton is measured as the coldest object at the solar system with temperatures at minus 235 degree Celsius.
