Hi everybody! I am Melanie Raposo, and welcome to Mommy's Minute. One of the first signs of pregnancy is usually morning sickness. It's believed that morning sickness is related to a pregnancy hormone, and usually women who don't get enough rest are more prone to it. Morning sickness occurs within the first stage of pregnancy, usually between the fourth and sixth week. There are some techniques you can do though to lessen the symptoms of morning sickness, like getting out of bed slowly, eating small meals, drinking lots of water, and even eating ginger helps. If you are experiencing vomiting, more than twice daily, you should contact your doctor immediately.
