Male Speaker: When Joseph Pilates made it to America in the 1920s, he worked in New York with the number of professional dancers. Dancers icons Martha Graham, and George Balanchine sent members of their troops down to improve their techniques and to prevent injuries. Pilates develop to spring loaded aparadisus after working with bed return hospital patients who are recovering from surgery. He saw the beauty of the bed spring as a device for stretching muscles in a careful precise way. Like martial arts where they were varying degrees of difficulty to reach black belt level. There are different levels of difficulty in Pilates exercises, that way workouts still become humble because there are always new goals to achieve. Becoming a Pilates instructor is not an overnight thing, to teach Pilates require special training and certification courses. So, you know you'll always being and good in knowledgeable hands.
