On behalf of tvlesson.com I am Dr. Justine Newman doctor of organs and medicine with thebanyanholistic.com. Let’s talk about elimination and the role elimination plays in holistic nutrition. Every morning your body is in the elimination phase, everything you haven’t been able to use from the night before will be eliminated that morning. The best foods that promote elimination are those with the high water content, those foods are fruits or vegetables. It’s important to have as many of these in the morning as possible because of the water content in the food will help to clean out the system. It’s very important to promote hygiene if we are not cleaning out the system of toxins and poisons over time they do accumulate and will provoke illness. Your body is about 70% water just like the surface of the earth and so 70% of the fluids that you eat should have high water content. Many people ask, what if I’m a causing to having a bigger breakfast oatmeal or something of that nature fine. Have fruit first, have fruit and wait about half an hour because you want that foods to be out of your stomach before including more substantial foods but up until about noon you can have fruit, fruit, fruit. If you are hungry fruits, it’s a great source of energy because it has simple sugars in the broken down and not store as fat if you don’t use them. Fruit has the water content that thus clean your system as I mention, fruit also has enzymes and vitamins that are essential for promoting health. So fruit is a perfect food choice and there are hundreds to choose from. If you are causing to having coffee or tea in the morning this can clean your system as well but try to have fruit and water first so that the toxins that accumulate from the night before can be eliminated before you include something of that nature. On behalf of tvlesson.com this is Dr. Justin Newman and thank you for watching.
